Early in WWII, a Jewish mother enlists the help of a rabbi's daughter to save her daughter Lea. This help is on the form of a golem, Ava, who becomes the savior. Due to this mysticism, you might love the book or put it down. I always look at these issues as, it's still an education as to what others might believe.
