Garrett M. Graff is a journalist who was in D.C. at the same time as me--I always followed him. He collected thousands hours of oral accounts of 9/11. Graff crafted together individual stories into one compelling narrative. I have never read or seen an 9/11 piece like this. I cried multiple times.
I can't remember if I read this in 2019 or 2020. If it was in 2020, then it will probably be on my Top 10 at the end of the year!
