Review: Mystic River by Dennis Lehane

Mystic River is a gut-wrenching story of three best friends, one of whom was abducted, molested and ultimately returned when they were children. 25 years later, the three are all living in Boston when one of their daughters is found murdered in the neighborhood park, connecting their lives once again. Also a movie starring Kevin Bacon.
