Review: Every Note Played by Lisa Genova

Lisa Genova was a neuroscientist before she was an author and it's apparent from her novels. Her fiction deals with characters suffering from neurological disorders, and with the ease of a doctor explaining to a patient, her explanatory prose helps inform readers of these tragic conditions without any air of condescension.

Every Note Played is about a world-famous concert pianist and his journey as he succumbs to ALS.
