Every Book in My House I Love: Julie

“If you love it, you buy it,” is a phrase I learned from my mother at an early age—so someone please tell my boyfriend she is the reason why we need three bookcases.

While we were building our card catalog for TBB, we naturally started with the books we had at home. My selection is wide-ranging: airport impulse buys, various coffee table books that don’t fit on the coffee table, assorted comedian “auto”biographies, a Physician’s Desk Reference (really wanted to a be a doctor) and of course, all of my favorites, name inscribed so they’re ready to be loaned at a moment’s notice.

In no particular order, here are my ten favorite books in my house at a given time, and if you live in Northern California* I am happy to loan any of them to you if you give them back to me eventually.
